The way my buddy Pieter did it was just by applying to jobs on 104.com.tw. Use keywords like "full stack engineer", "back end engineer" or whatever coding language you're proficient in. Many larger companies won't mind if you can't speak English, as long as you can get the job done. They might even value a foreigner who can code for having a different way of coding compared to local Taiwanese. The key is to be aggressive and apply to every job. Also create a portfolio website to showcase your projects. Send the link to every job opening you can find and score some interviews. Right now people who can code are in incredible demand. Employers won't care where you're from. Expect a lower than Western standards salary of about 50 -75K NTD per month. Happy hunting!
