If you work as an ESL teacher in Korea it's pretty legit.
Work usually starts at around 1pm, so you can sleep in.
The average salary is around 2,000$ a month, but housing is free. Food is super cheap. You can easily get a good meal at a mom and pop restaurant for around 6$.You can eat out every night and still save.
So with no car note, no car insurance, or rent to pay, it shouldn't be too hard to save up.I would say it is pretty easy to save about 10,000$ a year in Seoul, which would be so much harder to do in L.A even if you made three times as much as you would in Seoul.
